SEA can prepare and/or update your Board of Education's policy manual to meet district needs. The policy manual prepared for your district will comply with all State and Federal mandates and will conform to the negotiated contracts and other unique circumstances of the school district. All manuals are made available in a computer database as well on hard copy.

SEA can prepare and/or update your Board of Education's regulation manual to meet district needs. SEA will review the policy manual, negotiated contracts, handbooks and district procedures for consistency. The regulation manual prepared for your district will comply with all State and Federal mandates and will conform to the unique circumstances of the school district. All manuals are made available in a computer database as well as on hard copy.

A PASS client district can be informed of changes in school law and supplied with updated policies and regulations needed to respond to those changes. For an annual subscription fee, the district will receive:

- POLICY ALERTS that supply and explain new and revised Policy and Regulation Guides;

- Monthly issues of the New Jersey School Digest, reporting selected Commissioner, State Board and Court decisions, new laws and Code or Statute changes;

- The School Digest Cumulative, a reference work that includes all cases reported in the New Jersey School Digest since 1978;

- ELAN (Education Law Access for New Jersey);

- Annual Education Policy & School Law Seminar; and

- Unlimited consultation on policy issues.

ELANOnlineservice is included with the Policy Alert and Support Service (PASS) subscription. ELANOnline provides Strauss Esmay's Policy and Regulation Guides, linked to New Jersey statutes and administrative codes, and to reported cases in the New Jersey School Digest. ELANOnline has a powerful search feature and districts can view, search and print from ELANOnline.

DISTRICTOnline is Strauss Esmay's newly developed online service that provides school districts the option to have its own Policy and Regulation Manuals online integrated with Strauss Esmay's ELANOnline. DISTRICTOnline has the same features of ELANOnline and enables Policy Alert and Support Service (PASS) districts the ability to revise and update policies and regulations in a very quick and easy manner. A school district's policy and regulation manuals will be online, current and easy to access by district authorized users.
